The Burglar
The Burglar is a stealth based loot-em-up game made in unity, it was a solo project in which I created all the art assets and the game systems from scratch.
The goal of The Burglar is to steal as much loot as you can in the time limit without being caught by security, to help the player achieve the game features several gadgets designed to increase player mobility and help disable security systems. The challenge with this project was the art side, I am primarily a designer and a programmer and with limited time available it wasn’t feasible for me to work on hyper realistic assets. Instead I decided on a simplistic design using a flat shader to give the game a cartoon feel, this gave the game a definite art style and made the process of generating assets a lot easier. |
